I got my first glimpse into the Software Development Lifecycle in 2015 when I began working as a business systems analyst on a team designing an enterprise SaaS CRM. Besides designing new features and updates for the in-house CRM, I worked on more than 50 projects with more than 25 top-tier tech companies including several from the Fortune 500.
Although my roots were in business and technical requirements gathering, in 2017 I began focusing more on designing user experience, or what we called the "Customer Journey". Over the years, I became more and more involved in the product design and architecture. I noticed that as I started getting closer to development, it became a bummer to hand it off to a development team to take it over the finish line.
In June 2020, I completed a full-stack software development program at the Flatiron School. Here, I gained a solid foundation to start developing my technical skills for the road ahead.
Today, I'm searching for a company that prides itself on innovation and champions employees to bring to life software solutions that can change the world for the better.
Currently I'm living in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. When I'm not working on building software and websites, I'm out enjoying all that this great town has to offer. I prefer to spend my days on the water learning how to sail my first boat, or kayaking around the marshes. When it's time to relax, it's off to the beach for a day in the sun or a backyard seafood boil with good friends and great beer!
